Who says you must use cream when making Peaches & Cream Oatmeal? Here is my little recipe I came up with and it is Dairy-Free!
I love the packets of instant oatmeal of peaches & cream, whether it is a brand name or grocery sore brand, it tastes good, but its loaded with chemicals and way too much sugar which is simply not healthy. In addition, the packets are so small, that just one is never enough.
It actually became a problem for us. For one, my 6' 5" husband eats like a horse, so I had to get creative, in addition, if I make an oatmeal packet for the kids, they overdose on sugar which makes them hyper and a little crazy. So I started looking for different options. After trial an error I came up with this vegan creamy oatmeal recipe. Everyone loves it and no one knows there is no cow milk. You can add any fruit to this cereal. Since its peach season, I have a Peaches & Cream Oatmeal Recipe for you. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

4 oz - Steel Cut Oats
1 tbs- Dark Brown Sugar
- Bring Water to a boil in a pot
- Add muesli and steel cut oats, let cook for 5 minutes

- Your oatmeal should be nice and creamy, peaches still fresh and not over cooked.
In this recipe I used peaches, but you may add other fruit such as Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and or bananas. You can probably use other nut milk instead of almond milk, but I hsave not tried it and I like the creaminess the Almond Milk creates.
